This Privacy Policy explains how any information provided to CitySpace Counselling is used and protected.

 

Information I may collect

You may supply personal information such as name, address and telephone number by filling in forms on this site or by communicating by telephone or email. Information may be received about you from other sources, such as Google Analytics.

 

With regard to each visit to this site, the following information may be automatically collected.

Technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform:

 

  • Information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from this site (including date and time); also services you viewed or searched for.

Uses made of the information

CitySpace Counselling will use your information:

 

  • To carry out obligations arising from any contracts entered into between client/s and counsellor.

  • To notify clients about changes to services offered or entered into.

  • To administer this site and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes.

  • To improve this site to ensure that content is presented in the most effective and accessible manner.

  • Internal record keeping

 

Disclosure of client information

All dealings with clients remain confidential except when Cityspace Counselling may have a legal obligation to share this with relevant organisations. Examples could be if client discloses they intend to harm yourself or others, or if information is disclosed relating to terrorism, money laundering and drug trafficking.

 

Storage of online personal data

The data that collected from enquirers and clients will be transferred to, and stored at, a destination within the European Economic Area (EEA).

The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. All reasonable measures will be taken to protect your personal data but it is not possible to guarantee the security of data transmitted to this site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once any information has been received via the site  information, strict procedures and security features are in place to try to prevent unauthorised access.

 

Access to information

You can request access to the personal information held about you. Cityspace Counselling will provide this except in the limited circumstances in which I am permitted not to. Cityspace Counselling will respond to any such request made by you within one month of the request being made.

You may request amendments to the personal information I hold about you that is inaccurate or out-of-date. If you request that I delete your personal information, I will take all reasonable steps to do so unless I need to keep it for legal, auditing or internal business purposes.
