starting with how you feel about yourself
In response to the current situation with Covid-19 Cityspace Counselling has moved online, to offer positive help and support to individuals and couples with a range of issues including anxiety, relationship difficulties and career stress.
Responding to the individual needs and circumstances of each client is central to my approach. Working together with you to understand the causes of current challenges and difficulties, and to move towards finding a way forward is at the heart of the work I do as a therapist.
Some areas I can help individual clients with: relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, loneliness, low self-esteem, loss and bereavement.
Fees for individual online counselling via Zoom: £40 per 55 minute session
The decision to seek couple therapy can result from a sudden crisis in your relationship but also as a way of making sense of longer-term feelings of uncertainty or unhappiness. Taking a balanced and non-judgemental approach I work to understand areas of conflict and difference and support ongoing communication with couples.
Some areas I have experience of working together with couples on: lack of communication, conflict and anger, infidelity and betrayal, financial concerns, fertility issues and IVF; gender, sexual and relationship diversity
Fees for couple online therapy via Zoom: £60 per 55 minute session
Finding meaning in your working life, clarifying career goals and finding a balance with ambitions and personal values can be challenging. Careers coaching can support self-awareness, and also provide practical direction in terms of ‘what next’.
Some areas I can help with: career change and transition, work-life balance, stress management, personal effectiveness at work.
Fees for online career coaching via Zoom: £40 per 55 minute session.
My professional training and experience, as both a couple and individual psychotherapist and experienced career coach, ensures a breadth of understanding regarding the challenges of managing relationships and a creating a meaningful career.
I qualified as a psychotherapist at Tavistock Relationships, graduating with a distinction from the Postgraduate Diploma in Couple and Individual Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, a course accredited by the British Association of Counselling Psychotherapists (BACP). A registered member of the BACP I abide by their code of conduct regarding ethics and professional practice.
Working as a therapist, with a focus on relationships, I offer expertise and the capacity to listen without judgement. I am able to question and be curious, and work together with clients to find new approaches to some of life’s problems.
Alongside my work as a therapist for couples and individuals my practice at Cityspace Counselling focuses on the area of career development. I have an MSc in Career Management Counselling from the Department of Organizational Psychology, Birkbeck, University of London and experience of coaching clients at various stages of their careers, from post-graduation to mid-life career change.

Cityspace Counselling was formerly based in the historic setting of Charlton House, which offered a safe and peaceful setting in South East London.
As member of the local community here in SE7, I very much hope to be able to return to work in this beautiful building,
in the heart of Charlton, at some point in the future.
The pictures on this site are taken in several of Charlton's wonderful green spaces.
