Relationships matter

starting with how you feel about yourself

Located in Charlton House, South East London, Cityspace Counselling offers positive help and

support with a range of issues including anxiety, relationship difficulties and career stress.

Individual Counselling

Responding to the individual needs and circumstances of each client is central to my approach. Working together with you to understand the causes of current challenges and difficulties, and to move towards finding a way forward is at the heart of the work I do as a therapist.

Some areas I can help individual clients with: relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, loneliness, low self-esteem, loss and bereavement.

Fees for individual counselling: £50 per 50 minute session

Couples Therapy

The decision to seek couple therapy can result from a sudden crisis in your relationship but also as a way of making sense of longer-term feelings of uncertainty or unhappiness. Taking a balanced and non-judgemental approach I work to understand areas of conflict and difference and support ongoing communication with couples.

Some issues I have experience of working on together with couples: lack of communication, conflict and anger, affairs and betrayal, financial concerns, fertility issues and IVF, Internet and pornography addiction.

Fees for couple therapy: £70 per 50 minute session

Careers Coaching

Finding meaning in your working life, clarifying career goals and finding a balance with ambitions and personal values can be challenging. Careers coaching can support self-awareness, and also provide practical direction in terms of ‘what next’.

Some areas I can help with: career change and transition, work-life balance, stress management, personal effectiveness at work.

Careers coaching session are available face to face and also online, using Zoom video conferencing.

Fees for career coaching: £50 per 50 minute session.

My professional training and experience, as both a couple and individual psychotherapist and experienced career coach, ensures a breadth of understanding regarding the challenges of managing relationships and a creating a meaningful career.

I qualified as a psychotherapist at Tavistock Relationships, graduating with a distinction from the Postgraduate Diploma in Couple and Individual Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, a course accredited by the British Association of Counselling Psychotherapists (BACP). A registered member of the BACP I abide by their code of conduct regarding ethics and professional practice.

Working as a therapist, with a focus on relationships, I offer expertise and the capacity to listen without judgement. I am able to question and be curious, and work together with clients to find new approaches to some of life’s problems.

Alongside my work as a therapist for couples and individuals my practice at Cityspace Counselling focuses on the area of career development. I have an MSc in Career Management Counselling from the Department of Organizational Psychology, Birkbeck, University of London and experience of coaching clients at various stages of their careers, from post-graduation to mid-life career change.
